jury duty

The president's been summoned to serve on a jury back home in Crawford, Texas.

I checked, and Crawford's a few counties over from Travis County where Tom DeLay was indicted; so, sadly, no chance Bush's been summoned for that one, though presumably he'd get an easy out on account of knowing the accused.

One wonders what his excuse will be for dereliction of this Texas duty?

Oddly enough, John Kerry had, and completed jury duty on November 23rd. He was elected foreman of the Jury and everything.

Yeah, but neither does Bush, really.

What would be funny is if the judge didn't give him an exemption. Can you appeal that? You must be able to.

I don't know if this is an appropriate forum for such discussion, but since it's in the news so much, you guys should talk about the american policy of rendition and the differences between republican and democrat views are of this policy (if there are differences).
